Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather, Varsity Flag will notify you as soon as any decisions are made. We only cancel games if the weather or fields are unsafe for our athletes. Weather announcements are sent out via:

• Email
• Text Message
• Our Social Media Channels (follow us if you don’t already @varsityflagfootball on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok!)
• Our Website Homepage

The decision to play or not due to inclement weather is not always up to us and can be made by our host facilities. Varsity Flag will offer one makeup day per season.

Very Important: If you do not hear from us, or see any announcements, that means your game or clinic is still ON!

Should multiple cancellations occur within the season, Varsity Flag will try to create doubleheaders and modify the season schedule to accommodate make-up games. Since there are certain situations beyond our control, Varsity Flag will do its best but is not obligated, to schedule make-up games that are canceled. Refunds will not be given for weather-related events.
